Tribal Art Fair 2009

Over 2000 exclusive objects from Oceania, Africa, Indonesia, China, Japan, Tibet and Laos, will come together at what is TAF Amsterdam 2010. The exhibition comprises jewellery and sculptures, but also textiles, masks, implements and furniture. Special pieces from far-away countries. In the last weekend of October they are to be seen and purchased in Amsterdam, at the eight edition of TAF Amsterdam.

Our aim is provide a varied selection of authentic African, Oceanic and Aboriginal tribal art and ethnographic artefacts dating from early 19th to mid 20th century. We have an interesting mix of masks, weapons, ceremonial and figurative items with a specialty selection of headrests. The pieces we choose all combine a mixture of ingredients: the carvers' skill at balancing detail with expression, rarity, colour, beauty and age. Everything sold is personally guaranteed to be authentic and as described.
