Gallery DOGON Tribal Art was opened 1998 in Berlin. The gallery of Monika & Eric Edelmaier results from long lasting collecting activities, passion and enthusiasm for African Art and many self arranged "Tribal Art" exhibitions presented in their private rooms of Schloss Eglingen in South-Germany. These exhibitions with varying topics still take every year in autumn. The gallery DOGON with showroom and "Black Box" exhibit an excellent selection of genuine art from Africa, Indonesia and Oceania. The "Black Box" is reserved for quarterly exhibitions with special topics. All objects come from well-known European collections, from auctions or are acquired onjourneys through different African countries. The assembled experiences and knowledge in non-European art and culture will be communicated on a visit in the gallery. The quality ofthe objects is emphasised by an aesthetical and competent presentation.
